Top 5 Perennial Psychos

A lot of actors and actresses seem to hate being type-cast. Some apparently don't mind it. And others are just so damn good at playing certain roles that it would be a crime if they stopped accepting them. With that in mind, here are the guys that are the absolute kings of the hill when it comes to playing creeps, nutjobs, and just plain psychos.

  1. Jack Nicholson
The absolute, hands-down, inarguable winner. I could put Jack in all five spots in this list and still not be overstating my point. The Shining, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Batman, As Good as it Gets... this guy just doesn't stop.
  2. Christopher Walken
Just seeing him is usually enough to completely weird me out.
  3. Robert Blake
It's possible he may have carried his Hollywood persona a little too far into his personal life. But if you were married to that woman, wouldn't you be crazy, too? Anyways, nobody's better at playing the tortured soul, and no matter how many times I see him in Lost Highway, I still soil myself.
  4. Joe Pesci
Pesci is the king of flying off the handle at the slightest provocation. This guy is responsible for more deaths-by-kicking than Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan combined.
  5. Steve Buscemi
Usually more quirky than creepy, the guy is insane nevertheless.
    Honorable Mention: Brad Pitt
12 Monkeys and Fight Club showed this guy can be more than just a pretty face.
    Honorable Mention: Roberto Benigni
I don't know if this really counts, because he's not acting; the man truly is insane. He's got some wires crossed or something.
