Top 5 Hitchcock Movies

by Brian

Compiling a Top 5 Hitchcocks causes me great pain. The man simply makes too many good ones. My favorite of his films generally come from the 1950s but each decade contains its jewels. Here you'll find no shortage of innovative shot-making, classy acting, tasty plots, masterful scores, and good ol' fashion suspense.

  1. Psycho
    (1960)
  2. North by Northwest
    (1959)
  3. Rear Window
    (1954)
  4. Dial M for Murder
    (1954)
  5. Shadow of a Doubt
    (1943)

How about a 'Top 5 Hitchcock Cameos', highlighting his best appearances in his own films?
Nick says:
A rather Grace Kelly-ocentric list, don't you think? (Brian's favorite actress is Grace Kelly according to his bio. A fantastical coincidence, I think not).
